At occidental we are committed to ensuring our society live a decent life. To realize this we have made Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) essential part of our business culture. Each year the company sets aside portion of it gross income to support the society.
As a company we have identified the following  key areas in which our CSR focuses on:

1. Education

• Built 4 classes at Syillini Secondary School in Makueni District.

• Providing 140 desks and seats at Nyweri Primary school in Meru.

• Built a dorm at Waita School for the Blind in Mwingi.

•   Constructed classes at Lwa Ndiu Primary School.

2. Health

• Participated in the launch of Beyond Zero campaign.
•  Supported Aki in the annual Medical camp.
• Participated in the Shree Cutchi Level 4 Charitable Trust in line with Cerebral Palsy.

3. Water Supply

• Providing a water Tank in Embu.
• Provided Water Tank at Katunyoni Community School in Makueni.
• Construction of an Elderly Home – Kajiado Home for the Aged.
